Replacing the doors of the kitchen cabinets
- Firstly, get the old/ broken/ worn out doors removed using a screwdriver by unscrewing them from their hinges. Get the hinges left attached to the boxes of the cabinet.
- Secondly, after you did the first step, the new door can be attached to the already installed hinges on the cabinet boxes. The door must be held up to the hinges and get it marked for the screw’s places which will be used as the screws’ place to the hinges. To avoid splitting the wood on the new cabinets’ door, you will need to get it drilled to make predrill holes. It will definitely make the screwing activity much easier. Don’t get the screws all the way tightened. Get the door adjusted in order to make sure it is level by getting the hinge adjusted. Get the screws tightened.
- Next, the knobs/ handles must be placed at your desired place on the new door and get it marked. Get the measurement from the cabinet’s bottom & the side to the mark. Get each cabinet marked with the measurements in order to get the knobs/ handles in the same place on each of the door.
- Finally, the doors’ knobs/ handles can be attached by pre-drilling the screws’ holes for the screws.
